This one would really save you time, trying to pour soap or oil to a cruet or soap dispenser with a small mouth takes forever and not to forget the mess it makes. These funnels make it so much easier. I use one for my oils and the other for soaps.
Had a little trouble snapping the filter into the larger funnel, but finally got it. I like the rubber grip in case you don't have a hand free to hold onto the strainer. Good design. Would have liked something to hold the two funnels together
So far, I'm pretty impressed with these funnels. They've held up great and the non-slip feature is fantastic. The only thing I really don't like about them is the hole is SO small it takes forever for thicker liquids to get through. Overall, I'm happy I have these.
Although I have not yet had the opportunity to use the large funnel, the smaller one that came with it works just brilliantly.
I just needed funnels, and the funnels are really great, and stand up to heat up to 250 degrees. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong - it seems that silly.Anyhow, if you're mostly just looking for two good funnels, this is great.
You get two funnels, a large and a small. The black lines on the sides hold the funnel inside the receiving container well.
The funnels are great. The filter goes on the outside of the funnel, and the space between the filter and the funnel, where the liquid would go through and be received by the funnel is actually smaller than the holes, meaning that the particulates would simply be trapped there before even reaching the funnel, blocking the flow of the liquid.
What I can't figure out is the filter. Either I don't understand it's operation or it's just designed really weird.
If you need the filter, not so much. Since water boils at 212, you don't need much higher heat tolerance than that for most cooking liquids (don't try to funnel hot oil, which can get up to much higher temperatures, with this - that would be dangerous anyway).Overall, great funnels, I really like them.
